A personalised signature not only adds flair to your correspondence, but also makes it clear to your contacts how and where they can get in touch with you and learn more about your company. And since Gmail is the most widely used web client, understanding how to modify its settings is advantageous. Regardless of whether you’re using a PC, an iPhone, or an Android device, here’s how to create a signature in Gmail.I tell about how to add a signature in gmail.
How to Create a Gmail Signature from Your Computer:
In Gmail, personalising your signature is a simple procedure. Simply choose Settings from the gear icon, then scroll down to the Signature panel. Enter your signature in the text box and, if desired, format it, add links, or even a picture. Once finished, choose Save Changes. The next stages are more thorough.
Key Points:
- On the Gmail toolbar, click the gear icon in the upper right corner.
- the pop-up menu, and then select Settings.
3. To access the Signature area, scroll below. This may be found on the General tab, which ought to be visible by default.
4. then click the option that says “No Signature” underneath. If you have several Gmail accounts, you may select the account you want to link your signature to from a dropdown menu on the radio button.
5. In the open form, type the signature you want to use. There are a few options available to you in the formatting bar.
Main Points:
- The text formatting options allow you to control the font style, size, effects, and color of your text. There are also options for aligning and indenting text, creating a numbered or bulleted list, or setting off the text as a quote.
- The Insert Link icon (which looks like a chain link) lets you add a link to any web address, such as your company website or social media accounts, or even your email address. Clicking on the link will lead you to the Edit Link dialog box where you can set up display text for the link, and set a URL for the web or email address where you would like the link to go to.
- You may add a photo to your signature from Google Drive using the Insert Image icon (which resembles a white mountain in a grey box) on your computer or from a website.
6. To preserve your signature, check the box next to it. The text in this box should be inserted before any quoted text in answers, and the line that comes before it should be deleted. If you want Gmail to place your signature above the original message and next to it, do this.
7. Scroll down and click Save Changes to finish. The next time you create a new email in Gmail, your signature will be included automatically.
