Apple to Distribute Limited-Edition Gift Card

For the impending Japanese New Year celebration next week, Apple is giving away gift cards and limited-edition AirTags with a “Year of the Rabbit” engraving.

The promotion, according to the Cupertino tech behemoth, will last for two days. Customers who buy certain tech devices, such as the iPhone, are entitled to receive the bonus item tracker.

The promotion will run on January 2 and 3 to celebrate the “Year of the Rabbit” in 2023, according to a report by The Apple Post.

Customers should anticipate receiving gift cards between the value of 4,000 and 32,000. This will rely on the goods they buy during the specified event.

A Rabbit-themed AirTag, which is the most elusive prize, will go to the first 30,000 Japanese customers who purchase an iPhone SE, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, or iPhone 13 mini, according to the iPhone manufacturer.

Through this page, Apple has formally released the complete terms and conditions of the promotion. It is crucial to read these before making any purchases around the Japanese New Year.

Purchase of an App from the Apple Store Won’t Count

Customers should be aware that their entries for the AirTag with a New Year’s theme won’t be counted if they order their iPhones through the Apple App Store app, according to another report from Macrumors.

This means that buying a certain Apple device on the company’s official website is the only method to receive this limited-edition AirTag.

How to Save Some iPhone Battery

You might wish to use this hack to extend the battery life of your iPhone 14 if you have more time to investigate it. By turning off background app refresh, you may extend the battery life of your smartphone, claims Tech Times.

It should be noted that this is quite a “secret” feature that you can search over the Settings of your iPhone and even the Android handsets.

Unused apps won’t drain your battery any longer if you limit background app refresh on your device. When your smartphone is not in use, this will help you save a lot of energy.

Simply disable the feature in Cellular Data or Wi-Fi to turn it off. You can go to your iPhone’s Settings and select the “General” section for a more thorough procedure.

Simply click “Background App Refresh” twice from here and disable Wi-Fi or mobile data.
